Having spent around 30 years in the Information Technology field, I have experienced many roles and have needed to be adaptable in learning new things. Recently I have found comfort in staying in a particular role for a significant amount of time and now it’s time to brush off those old skills to broaden my expertise to adapt to the changing landscape of today’s technology.
As I look back on all of the innovations that led to where we are today it is clear that I needed to embrace a fresh way to look at the ever changing technology driving change in today’s world of IT. I have had to adopt a continuous learning model that leverages past knowledge while remaining open to new ideas. This approach has allowed me to build upon my existing foundation while actively seeking out and incorporating new knowledge and insights to provide new solutions to overcome today’s challenges in IT.
As I share my thoughts on emerging technologies and advancements I would like to ask you to embrace this exciting future while leveraging your unique past experiences and share your perspectives while we navigate the changing landscape of IT through the lens of our past experiences.
